Entertaining collection of historical stories of well know LE officers and a few not so well known but deserving modern day cops. Writing style is a little rough but readable. Nice Christmas stocking stuffer for the LE officer in your life.

A fascinating and well researched book about Law Enforcement Officers in the United States! LT Dan did a wonderful job of taking you through the periods of Law Enforcement and I found it enlightening on how really rough the West was while being settled. Lots of amazing Officers through the years? Glad I watch Stop the Threat so I heard LT Dan discussing his book!

Full of history and facts about some of our famous lawmen. This book really gave an insight into the personal history and lives of a lot of law officers that are familiar names - and many who were not. I enjoyed it and think it would be a great gift for anyone in law enforcement.

A wonderful book told from law enforcement's point of view. Too often we glorify the criminal and don't give credit to the lawmen. Loved the history!

Anyone interested in law enforcement, western novels, and general pride in being a U.S. citizen will love this book. Everyone else will like it a whole lot!
