Being able to add rock/sand is great. Could be better if rock/sand could be added and wouldn't fall out of the opposite side.

This was absolutely a lot heavier then I expected and very well made. I will warn that its kinda hazardous to put together due to all the spikes but its been a great tool so far

It came pretty much ready to roll, and I think it took me all of two minutes to pop the handle on – super simple with that quick clip. The whole thing feels really sturdy, not flimsy at all. My lawn was starting to look a little sad, but after just a pass or two, I can already see a difference. The spikes seem to do a great job without tearing up the grass too much. Plus, the adjustable handle is a nice touch for my taller self. If you want an easy way to give your lawn some breathing room, this blue guy is definitely worth it!

I picked up this rolling lawn aerator to help break up the heavy clay soil in my yard. Around here, if I don’t aerate at least once a year, the ground gets so hard it pretty much shrugs off rainwater and anything I try to throw at it with the sprinkler. Assembly was quick, probably around the 3 to 5 minutes they claimed, and it was made easier by the fact that the spikes were already attached. I did notice a few of the spikes were a little bent when I opened the box, but they straightened out easily enough with a little elbow grease. The aerator feels solid when rolling over the yard, and the U-shaped handle keeps it from feeling wobbly. Overall, it’s a handy tool to have if you deal with stubborn soil like I do. I wouldn’t mind if the quality control caught the bent spikes before shipping, but for what I needed, it works.

I want to share my thoughts on this heavy-duty lawn aerator, which deserves a 5-star review.Overall, it is exactly what you pay for and does work—mostly. I believe longer spikes dig deeper into the ground, and I believe the extra weight is beneficial for quality and functionality. This heavier product provides better ground force. Assembly is a breeze.While using it, I found that I needed to apply some pressure for it to grab the dirt effectively. I tested it on two surfaces: dirt and grass. On dirt, it performs great. However, a small barrier on the grass makes it harder to achieve the deep holes I desire.While it’s not ideal, I don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars on something that might yield better results, and I’m not willing to wear shoe spikes either.The product is what you pay for; don’t expect to be overly impressed; it does the job adequately.This is a good value for the price (USD $99.99 at the time of this review).
