The title says it all, I was laying new sod and needed this tool I didn’t know existed. It’s heavy which is good, and takes a few to figure out how it works, but it does the job well and is very sturdy.

Works well for DIY use, not sure it could stand up to daily contractor use. The long adjustable handle is nice. I cheeped out and bought the shorter, 17" rake but wish I had spent a little more and got the wider30" rake in hindsight. Still not a bad product for its price and it served my needs.

Very solid, easy to assemble and does the job! Bought it for grass and have used it for everything else but grass ie rocks, soil. Well worth it!

This rake is heavy and well made. It leveled sand and soil well. The tricky part is releasing the soil caught up in rake. I had to twist and shimmy the rake to get soil off, which was tricky because it was heavy (in my opinion as a petite middle aged woman).

First off, the quality of the metal is excellent and it does level the ground. Downsides are that the pole is assembled from shorter sections with plastic threading - I suspect these plastic connection points will be the first to fail. Fully assembled, the pole measures 84" (7'), NOT the advertised 60" (5'). You can get the advertised length by leaving out handle sections, but this is an odd oversight. There is some slop/play where the handle connects to the base.Overall, I recommend this, especially for lighter duty work.

This came in very handy while preparing a site in our backyard for a greenhouse. It won't level tough soil or clay or anything, but if the ground is loose at all it does a great job of filling in trenches and leveling the land. Assembly took all of one minute, while the extra long handle is very useful for larger areas of land, I appreciate that segments of it can be removed if necessary. Overall, it's an affordable tool that makes certain jobs a lot easier, definitely recommend!

We have been planning on getting rid of our sea of rocks in our backyard and once they’re gone we will have just dirt to work with. This level will be so helpful to smooth everything out and prepare the yard for new matting. It was super easy to assemble, the different pole pieces just click into each other then you attach the bottom level portion with a nut and bolt. I think it was a good price for the quality of the tool.

This is a solid, well-made rake that should last the user for years. It was easy to assemble, but it took a while to get used to it. I have only used rakes with tines and this one has flat blades so I needed to adapt my habits. Once I got accustomed to it I was impressed with how it easily removed some of the stubborn weeds and dandelions in my yard. But what really stood out -- and took me the most time to master -- was using it to actually level the surface. I don't have much soil so it was not a smooth process, but I could tell the difference right away. Now my yard is ready for some reseeding and fertilizing for a new season.
