We had trouble finding a plug for the sink in our mobile home. The sizes didn’t match for any standard metal plug. This works well. It does eventually wear out and warp but lasts a significant amount of time.

I’ve had 2 others like this, worked well& as my last one got worn out I wasn’t able to find a new one. Tried a couple other kind of sink stoppers that didn’t work well for me. So finally caved to purchase this one even though it’s priced just short of 3X its usual price. It’s crap, does NOT hold water 50-75% of the time

I found this stopper (new!) at a recent estate sale for fifty cents. It solved all of my sink's drainage problems and I quickly ordered another one from Amazon. The stopper fits my sink's drain opening perfectly and prevents the water from leaking out. It will even hole the water there overnight if that's what one wants. It has not mildewed as one reviewer wrote but when I'm finished using it I rinse it off and put it in the dish drainer to dry. This is a great product and i highly recommend it.

I have looked for these locally, sometimes I find them. Sometimes I don't. These are nice and thick. I like the quality. They do not seal perfectly, so I have to fill the sink and get busy washing the dishes. The sink will slowly empty if I don't keep at it. Not a problem, unless I walk away and forget things are in the sink.

If you need a sink stopper, this one is worth trying. It seems a little stiff, but seems to fit itself well into the drain opening. If you don't have a dishwasher (like me) it eliminates the need for a dishpan, which is a boon if you also live in a small apartment and don't have a lot of storage space (also like me). I have had other stoppers. Some seem to fit, but the water drains out quickly anyway. This one keeps it in for as long as it takes for doing my dishes, so I consider it aq good buy.
