My grandkids are learning recorder and it’s a great little book, very easy to understand.

I bought both books one and two. These are clear, easy to follow, and I like that they include duets, quartets, and even piano accompaniments. They start out with the easiest notes to play, so they are fun to get started. Exercises and fingering charts are included. Yes, these would be excellent for kids, but I would highly recommend them for all ages.

This recorder set was a fun gift for my 9 year old daughter. She has already learned several songs. She loves the color of the recorder as opposed to the ugly brown ones! :)

I have not gone through the whole book, but if you're debating whether to buy it or not (maybe for your child). Don't hesitate. The book is easy to go through, if you have musical knowledge or not.
