It's not the best quality material but the addition of notes is useful. I personally use this to jot down several notes for miscellaneous stuff and haven't had too many issues with the product itself. I wish that it had some sort of cover to enclose the note but it has two pockets for additional notecards which help for carrying additional notes or storing previously written ones. Overall, happy but not necessarily impressed.

First, this is a nice holder and will suffice for what I wanted it for, but it’s not what I expected. It looks like a case that opens. It doesn’t. It also doesn’t include a pen. I see in the name now that it says “no pen”, but I thought it had one since the picture shows it with one. Also, the cards included are not cards. They’re just very small pieces of paper. I’m going to keep it and use it, but I am disappointed.

These are so handy for keeping notes. I like to take it on road trips, jotting down names of things along the way that I want to look up and remember when I get home. I like that it gives you a firm surface to write on, holds index cards, and can also carry a pen, so everything is in one convenient place. I have given these out as gifts and always have one for myself.

I got this to draw small sketches during the day as a break from work, or while hiking. I use plain white index cards (or could cut down quality drawing paper if I wanted. With two extra pockets, there's a place to keep blank cards, and another to slide a finished drawing. While I carry a pencil roll, it's nice to have the loop to keep the pencil I'm currently working with, although it's a bit loose for a pencil, and is clearly instead meant for a pen. I love this little thing.

I wasn't sure what to expect - I didn't find the product images helpful because I was complicating it in my head. But it's really simple and exactly what it should be. It holds index cards (3x5 size) and comes with a small stack of lined paper that seems to be about 3x5. It has a pen loop which is handy when I'm out of the house, especially when I'm using it for my grocery list. There are also two slim pockets that I'm using to hold additional index cards. I was initially confused - it looks like two pieces sewn together and thought maybe it was supposed to open. But no, maybe they did that so the pen loop would be secure.At my desk I wrote out my grocery list and was really happy at the store because the surface is sturdy enough for me to make notes on my list as I shopped (as opposed to trying to scribble on a single index card held in my hand. It's just a simple solution to a personal annoyance. It does what I want it to do and is easy to carry with me on the go.
