I bought this for my new zero turn mower and it looks and works great.

It may be good as a step but I thought, by looking at the photos, that it’s made of heavier gauge metal. Unfortunately It is not. It’s made of bent sheet metal. It’s strong enough I guess to stand on, but I was hoping for some protection in case I was rear ended. The end caps are plastic held in place by one small screw. Too bad because I like the shape.
