This LEE Filters 204 full orange compact roll is the colour used to correct light with a daylight colour temperature down to 2,800K (Tungsten). In this way, you can make your daylight colour temperature lighting that you are unable to adjust the colour temperature of, match the colour temperature of domestic filament room lighting and so on.Alternatively, you can use it to lower the colour temperature so as to warm areas of your set for artistic reasons.The sheet itself is 80 microns thick and comes in a box on a one inch diameter core, is two feet wide (61cm) and 25 feet long (7.62m). It is made from polyester and is dimensionally stable. The surface is shiny-flat and as a result, if you hold the roll firmly and move it around, it squeaks. Like all plastic filter sheet, it is not optically good enough to put over the lens of a good quality camera but it will transmit a laser beam without noticeably scattering it.In the composite photograph, you can see what a scene with mixed colour temperature lighting looks like to the camera and that the camera is set with a colour temperature of 2,800K. The image in the middle shows the light sources illuminating the scene and you can see that the light source on the left is very hot compared to the 2,800K source on the right which is correctly balanced. At the bottom, you can see that both sources are matched - the one on the right is set to 2,800K as is the camera and the one on the left has a sheet of this filter taped to the front of it with some small pieces of gaffer tape. These photographs are all done with lighting and camera equipment that is electronic but when you have lighting that you cannot change or you are shooting onto colour film stock, you need to have the flexibility that this sheet gives you.The level of light reduction goes arbitrarily from 1,892 lux without it, down to 1,253 lux with it which represents a loss of 0.6 stops.This filter sheet is very handy to have a round because you can cut it to any shape you like to modify the light and it is clear enough not to cause any appreciable amount of scattering so, if you want to have a correct centre to the lighting and a warmer outside, you can cut a hole in a piece of sheet and tape that over the front of your reflector on the front of the lamp.

LEE Filters is one of the Market Leading companies based in United kingdom 🇬🇧 and are known for their quality in professional photography as well as film making industry.This LEE Filters Quarter CTO gel Roll has same quality as their standard size role in the past which was 2ft by 4ft hence it was somewhat limited to maximum 4ft size. This new roll is 25ft long hence it will open up new horizon for us contents creators and product photographers.Role is very compact size and flexible for photography and video makers. It can be trimmed to size according to your specifications.This Quarter CTO gel is expertly designed and manufactured to convert cooler daylight 6500 Kelvin to warmer tungsten light 4600 on Kelvin scales. I personally prefer Quarter power CTO and CTB gels for natural looking tones and I find half or full CTO/CTB too powerful for my needs. If I need more I can easily double the gel to intensity. What I love about LEE Filters is quality and consistency in their product range. It is a versatile tool to enhance your lighting set and to achieve accurate concise and consistent results from studio lights.I am absolutely thrilled about this product and I will highly recommend it.

As with all the LEE filters I've tested recently, the quality of this gel is impeccable. I've been easily able to cut the roll down to size and control the lighting on set more effectively. Absolutely second to none when it comes to color correction or working creatively on a photo shoot!

Very well made as always from this brand. Well trusted manufacturer.The gel is a good thickness and perfect for the intended use. Colour management is spot on. I even trimmed some off to use on my speedlite (flashgun) which worked really well. So then I used it on my iPhone for a laff and that worked a treat also!!Highly recommended

The quality of the gel is excellent, and it's easy to cut and shape to fit my needs. It does a great job of warming up cool daylight, making it perfect for creating a more cinematic look. The compact roll is also very convenient, making it easy to store and transport
