If I wanted a container with scratches and cracks in it, I would have just gotten one second hand. Definitely do no get these as a cheap fish tank or anything. That said, they'll still do fine for catching bugs and my snails have no issue with their home. The lid stays on firmly so long as there's nothing really heavy in there, and gives plenty of ventilation.

Was good for transporting my rescue Syrian hamster home. My only complaint is that it can be a bit hard to open.

Llego en muy buen estado. Lo unico malo es que no cierra bien la puerta superior. Esta un poco descuadrada y no cierra como deberia. Es una casita muy util y practica para transportar a Lagarti.

Handle came broken and when you try to close the clear viewing flap on the top it feels like its going to break the lid, doubt it would though you just have to be careful while closing it. Very nicy for price and size

Conozco estas mascoteras desde hace mucho, son un poco fragiles, pero con cuidados, funcionan bien, el problema es que me llego sin la tapita chica que va en medio de la tapa grande, y he leido que a varias personas les sucede lo mismo... creo que mas bien es un problema del proveedor antes que de Amazon. pedire el cambio por una con tapa o que me envien la tapa.

Great home for our new pets! We found 2 garden snails and wanted a more spacious home than the large clamshell takeout container. It is very easy to see through and check out our snails. The top fits very snug and secure. The container itself is very sturdy. The little door at the top is a fine size to stick an adult hand through so you can access contents quickly. The ventilation holes at the top are perfect - plenty of ventilation but nothing is escaping. We have had the knitter keeper for over a week now and it has worked great. Very happy with this purchase.

I was nervous about getting this because other reviewers said theirs arrived broken - but mine arrived in perfect condition.Its been housing 3 stick insects for a month now and its still in great shape. There is a good amount of ventilation at the top and the lid stays on tight - it anything its a little hard to get off at times. I sort of squeeze the sizes of the box and pop the lid off one corner at a timePlastic is very clear so we can see our little friends inside without and interferenceGlad to have purchased this model and was just right for my needs.

Ordered 2 sets - one came without a lid and the company efficiently reordered another box and it arrived the next day. These are great! I have a 2 and 4 year old who are always wanting to go on walks and find "bugs". We've caught crickets, spiders, stink bugs and even a little lizard. The cage is plenty big enough for any critter and it's nice that the lid pops on easily but doesn't come off so easy. (I prefer it that way) It has a plastic handle and a clear window on top for viewing. Great to have around for any little adventurer.

My son loves these for collecting bugs in. It would also be suitable for small frogs or lizards, though I wouldn't want to keep them permanently in this set up. We ordered them after he tried to keep a large preying mantis he caught in a smaller container and I was concerned that it couldn't properly turn around. There is enough space to create a nice habitat for all manner of creepy crawlies and the handle and lid are sturdy even with a fair amount of weight inside. One of the first ones we ordered was missing the handle. We were able to exchange it no problem and a new one arrived just a couple of days later.
