I got the Leero Stainless Steel Anchor Hook because, let’s face it, not everyone in my family knows how to tie a good knot, and I was tired of the kids complaining! This hook has been awesome. It’s got an 8,000 lb capacity, so it handles my boat’s anchor no problem, and the stainless steel is tough enough for saltwater use.It works perfectly with 3/8” - 5/8” rope, which is exactly what I needed. The quick-release feature is super handy – no more messing with knots. Just clip it, and you're good to go!If you're looking for an easy, reliable way to anchor without all the fuss, this hook is a great choice. Perfect for small boats, kayaks, or pontoons!

Very sturdy build. Everything on it is solid and strong. The clip is quite powerful and snappy. Stated to handle 3/8" - 5/8" rope which is pretty huge by most standards. They emphasize the use for these on an anchor rope but this doesn't make much sense under my conditions. I'm small craft only but you basically have an anchor on the end of a rope that is tied to a cleat. You throw out the anchor, in the water or to the bank, snug up the line, and wrap the excess line around the cleat. If you're pulling up to a dock, you take your anchor rope and wrap it around the cleat that they'll have on the dock. So under ordinary circumstances you wouldn't have any opportunity to use these like they illustrate. Now if you were leaving it tied up for longer or heavy weather was coming in then maybe. But under ordinary situations it doesn't seem likely for the small crafts that I deal with. Now that is just my small craft viewpoint. With larger boats permanently tied up at a marina, maybe this is standard procedure - I wouldn't know. It would certainly work for that the way they illustrate so more power to you. I'll probably be using these myself for when I need to hang a load from a tree or something - should work well for that. The build on these is great and they're definitely a 5 star item.

When I looked at the photos in the description I thought that these were going to be some hoke knock-offs of a Danik Hook. I mean, they photo shop'd in the hook over a knotted bight in the rope, used an illustration with the finger through the hook eye (yea, if it was a child's finger) etc. If they cannot properly promote their product with simple (and factual) photos, I figured it was worth it to get these and provide a buyer beware review.HOWEVER...These are actually really nice HEAVY-DUTY hooks! And they are stainless steel. Not sure why they painted over the stainless steel; probably because it is not 316 ss and are 304 ss. Nevertheless, corrosion resistance, 8,000 lb capacity, easy to use, multi functional, all for a great price! If you don't want to pay the higher price of the Danik Hook (probably the gold standard in line hooks), then you will want to get a pair of these.Absolutely recommend. Would be five stars but my pet peeve was with the advertisement photos and illustration; and depriving me of a "buyer beware" review ;-)

These are seriously strong locks. I have mine mounted on a 20' PropelTech 5/8" rope (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DR28F574) and the rope just barely fits through the rope hole, in an ideal manner IMO. The hooks appear to be a cast stainless steel HEAVY duty piece that is powder coated black. As you can see, the hasp closure makes this secure when you clip them on. Using 5/8" line, the hook slips a little on the line until it digs in, but my rope is new and the spring loaded dog is pretty much completely flat. Once it grabs, it looks to be ready for some serious force. I am not a rigger and don't have any professional experience in this other than just using things, but I would feel very comfortable pulling a car out of a ditch using this setup. It says it is rated for 8000lbs, and I have no doubt that it is right.Having this in your boat or truck is truly peace of mind.Recommended!

I received these "anchor" hooks and am impressed with the construction. These are not flimsy hooks that will bend or be destroyed with stress. Nope...they are STRONG. They rate these at 8000 lbs, and I have no way of testing that weight, but there is no doubt that they are stronger than anything I can throw at them. The cinch function worked well with the synthetic rope that I tested them on.Here are some features worth knowing:1. They are built like a tank.2. They are painted black and it appears to be a "rugged" paint that can stand up to abuse.3. The "hook" has a strong clip that takes a bit to open, but once something is in the hook, it will stay there!4. The auto feed for rope has a one-way cinch that will hold the rope in place from being pulled back through. The harder you pull, the stronger the hold of the cinch. Yet opening the firm spring held cinch (easy with one hand) will allow the rope to pull back through easily. They state the functional rope size is 3/8 to 5/8 inch.5. There is a integrated area where you can tie on a rope for any purpose (to terminate the rope or any other reason). In short, this is a very useful tool that can help you manage to tie down just about anything, such as a boat (as advertised), or anything else, with an easy way to tighten and cinch down the rope, but have it remain easy to release. If you are looking for a rope "cinch" with hook, for what ever reason (except it is NOT for lifting people or other high risk types of use), you won't be disappointed.

They’re a little heavy but they are stainless steel, so I’m not surprised. They work well and hold the rope tight. No issues after a couple months of use. I’ll update if anything changes.

I use these hooks for my kayak and canoe anchors. They are great! I like how easy it was to install them and they function well. I really like how I can use them with one hand. It can be a challenge to keep the rope untangled, but that is my problem. These are well made and should last a long time.
