Also ohne dazu passendes Video ist diese Entrelac-Technik wohl nicht wirklich zu kapieren, aber hat man sowas mal auf youtube gesehen, kann man mit den Anleitungen der Autorin direkt etwas anfangen. Mit englischen Strickbegriffen sollte man natürlich vertraut sein, sonst ist das Heftle wertlos, ne ;-)Ich habe Entrelac in der Runde gestrickt, um mir die Eck-Triangles zu ersparen (hier war mir die Anleituung für die Mütze hilfreich!), und die Autorin hat absolut recht: Am besten gelingt es, wenn man die erste Masche der Reihe/Runde jeweils abhebt (es gibt auch andere Anleitungen, wo die erste Masche gestrickt wird), so erhält man einen schönen Kettrand und das Auffassen der Maschen gelingt wesentlich einfacher. Vier Sterne gebe ich deswegen, weil das Buch lediglich 6 Projekte enthält. Bisschen wenig für den Preis. Gut finde ich, dass die Maschenprobe jeweils in glatt rechts angegeben ist. So kann man direkt drauf losstricken, sofern man das passende Garn hat. Das Garn wird jeweils mit Lauflänge und Meter notiert, und es wird angegeben, wieviele Knäuel davon jeweils benötigt werden. Auch gut. Hinten im Heft gibt es noch Anleitungen zu den gängigsten Begriffen und Abkürzungen wie z.B. "kfb", oder wie man Abnahmen gestaltet. Wer sich an Entrelac traut, dem dürften diese Dinge jedoch bekannt sein.Insgesamt ein recht übersichtliches Heftlein in großer Schrift, schade dass es auf deutsch kaum Bücher über diese Technik gibt, es scheint ein Geheimnis zu bleiben...

The basic instructions were very clear. I would have preferred a few more variations. Also for those of us without a computer, the on-line videos are useless. A lot of people have to go to the library to use the computer.

This was very easy to follow. I had a friend that used to make the hats and she never showed my how. I actually made the hat with smaller yarn and smaller needles for a 3 year old. Turned out great!
