This duel purpose grater is of excellent quality and sharp enough to grate the tough skin on limes easily. The handle is nicely shaped for getting a good grip and feels sturdy. Very happy with this product.

Tried it out on lemon zest, and on a block of hard parmesan. Both shredded with no problem, and little effort. The grater is sharp! I'm not convinced that I like the handle and shape of it, since I'm used to my old (smaller, duller) grater that fits atop a container to catch the cheese; but I think I can get used to the way it handles. It's like using a rasp or a file. It does clean up easily and the protective sleeve is a nice touch. Really this is a good product.

So far the zester has zested parmesan, romano, garlic, bread, bacon, my finger nails (oops) and it does it all with good strength and great results. Nice having 2 sizes in the palm of your one hand for versatility.

This zester/cheese grater is really heavy duty. It's a lot bigger than I expected it to be and it's really durable. The handle is made of a thick wood that has wire edges that are rounded off. The grater is so long that you can span it over the top of a bowl or pan and rest it on the edges while you grate. The grater came with a cover for the sharp area, that kind of made me nervous to remove, but then I noticed it just slides off the top. Then there is a cute little brush that came with it, which I'm glad for because I don't really want to touch the surface of this grater which is incredibly sharp! Be careful, but enjoy your finely zested lemon! Great grater.
