How to measure your insole length
Step 1: Wearing socks that are the thickness you will wear when skating, stand on top of a piece of paper with the back of your heel against a wall.
Step 2: Draw a line at the tip of your longest toe
Step 3: Using a ruler, measure the distance between the 2 marks. This is your insole length.
Roller Skates: Sizing Similar to Shoes
Your shoe size is a helpful reference while determining your roller skate size.
If you're unsure about your size, follow the tips above to measure your insole before consulting the sizing guide.
Please note: The Dottie Skate runs 1.5 to 2 sizes larger than standard. For instance, if you typically wear a size 8.5 in women's shoes, you should order a size 7 in the Dottie Skate.

I purchased two pairs of these for my preteen children who were beginners at the time we bought them. Skating a few times a week, they were able to develop their skills, but both pairs of skates started to separate from the boot at the heel with less than two months' of use. I would not recommend these.

Skates snapped in half while I was skating. If that didn’t happen they would great. I only had them a month and a half.

I would have liked them more if they were a little bit wider. They're definitely made for people with narrow feet and narrow feet only.
