It came with a 7-month warranty and contacted Lenovo support and extended the warranty to me by a year. A beautiful product and worth its price

The computer would not connect to the internet. I tried all the suggestions from Lenovo manuals and the internet. I spent over an hour with Lenovo support trying to find a workaround. No success. Lenovo sales looked up the serial number and said the machine, which I had bought new, was actually bought 6 months ago and had therefore used up half of its one-year warranty. What's going on here?
