This is the first thing that goes onto any new Fujifilm camera of mine with a screw mount grip. It is the first thing I buy. Since I have found them they have been on my XT1, XT2 and the replacement after the first was stolen. The 2 XT4s that I use for wedding photography. The XT5 that I purchased recently and my newest X100S that hasn't arrived yet. I think I will go with a black one this time since the camera is black and silver. You will need to put some Permatex 24200 Medium Strength Threadlocker Blue, 6 ml on the "THREADS" ~~~DO NOT POUR IT DOWN THE THREAD HOLE!!!~~~ Thinking more is better. A little dab will do ya! I lost one without the permatex because it will come out, but after the permatex and umpteen weddings I have not lost another one. Once you put one on your camera you will become addicted to it. They are awesome!

It stays attached and the feel is good.

It is Stunningly Beautiful, and I lost it.I studied all the reviews, and continuously made sure it was always screwed in tightly, because I was aware that several customers lost the button. Yet, it happened to me, too.One problem is, the button stands out pretty high on the shutter button, and it is very vulnerable during times when you turn the camera on and off, since that switch is directly underneath the shutter button.

Have only been using the japanese tomoe design slow release shutter by lensmate for a few days, but really like the touch on my X100T. Works very well. I mostly use the camera for slower shots, and it's comfortable with touch. Even with the Fuji adapter rubber ring, it works well and does not leave a gap between the button and the screw. Would recommend as an add-on, even though the cost is higher than most aftermarket products.

Having this soft release allows you to cradle the shutter in the fold of your index finger, rather than under the tip of your index finger. Using it this way, buttons' with a convex top surface shape work better than some other products which have a concave contour. With the X-T20's small body size, i found I needed to get the accessory thumb rest and hand grip in order to begin to get a comfortable grip on it. The little rubber gasket it has on its threads also helps to keep it from unscrewing and coming loose. This soft release button was the least expensive element of all those upgrades, but makes for a more comfortable releasing of the camera's shutter. Highly recommend it.

I have one for every camera I own. Works on the newer Fujifilm cameras and also on my older medium format film cameras. I honestly don’t use them on my film cameras too often. Usually when they are on display only. I had never had one fall off before but I’m way OCD with my gear thou.

Mine fell off the first day. I contacted the company and to their credit, they sent me a new one. That one lasted all of a month, despite ensuring it was screwed in tightly.

Product is beautiful and well made but it is expensive compared to other options. Unfortunately, it is also easy to loose even if you are diligent about making sure it is on securely. It just takes that one time and it's gone.I cannot recommend their thumb grip highly enough. Fits securely and is an awesome product.
