Your cart is empty.Our beautifully designed buttons are a perfect complement to the Lensmate Thumbrests. Fits any shutter button with a threaded hole. We offer several unique engraved designs, some based on traditional Japanese family crests, in both aluminum and brass. Most users of our thumbrests find that the new position places the first joint of the shutter finger over the shutter button when the hand is relaxed. Our soft release buttons are shaped to nestle comfortably under the index finger first joint, enabling a softer shutter release and allowing lower shutter speeds without shake. Of course if you prefer using your finger tip, or it just lines up better with the shutter button you might prefer the non-engraved concave brass model, though theres no reason you couldnt use the convex model as well (mushroom shape). We will be offering anodized non-engraved convex and concave buttons in colors in the near future.

Looks great on the camera and adds a really nice feel to the shutter press. Definitely keeping it on the camera as long as it wants to stay. I've had it come loose a couple times and fall off once. The rubber ring is supposed to prevent that, and it seems better with it than without it, but not 100% secure.

This little button addition makes snapping photos even easier. Sits up high for quick shots. Stays put once screwed in. A bit pricey for what it is but the extra money is worth it for a quality product that stays I place.

I've used these release buttons on various Fuji camera models--XP1, XP2, XE2, XE2S and X100S. It doesn't fit the XT1 because that camera does not have a threaded shutter release button. Like other Lensmate products, the soft release is well designed and well made. It improves comfort by allowing you to press the shutter with the body of your index finger rather than curling it up to press with the fingertip. Of course you can still use your fingertip if you want. I consider these releases a necessary piece of equipment and wish I could use them on my XT1.It comes with a rubber grommet that helps to keep it tight once screwed into the Fuji shutter button. Screw it down really tight to flatten out the rubber piece a bit and it will keep the Lensmate release secure.The releases come in various colors and designs if it a matters to you. The "tadpole" design is a little less cutesy so I like it best. Can't go wrong with the red color either.

Love it!Just to clarify, this is a solid button and not some plastic piece! It gives a very nice feeling on my x-t2. I just received it, but went out shooting with it over the weekend!Would definitely recommend!

I like it a lot on my Fuji Tx 10 but comes loose too easily. It came loose and I lost it on a trip to Belgium:(Needs to improve on securing it to the camera. I'm not sure about gluing it in place like some people suggest.

Works on my new Fuji X-E2S, fits perfectly. I don't have to grope around for the button anymore. The red color also added a little excitement to the silvery camera. Lensmate sent it right away so I' m a very happy customer right now. Will buy again from this supplier.
