We have a Tesla charger for our Model Y and an ordinary 20A outlet for our Nissan Leaf. The leaf takes forever to charge on wall power, so we ordered this adapter because it was the most compact, so it can easily sit in the tiny center storage compartment of the Leaf.Charging at 50A, the adapter did not even get hot.I recommend this adapter for anyone with an EV that has a CCS port, because in an emergency, you can always find a Tesla destination charger.

The quality is exceptional! Bought couple others ones in the past but nothing compare to this one, the fitment and functionality is great! Would recommend to anyone that needs an adapter like this!

Since GM partnered with Tesla to make Superchargers available to GM cars, I need an adapter to charge my Chevy Bolt. This is a very heavy duty adapter that allows you to charge Chevy EV using Tesla Supercharger. I registered through the Chevy app, and started using the Supercharger. Comes in a hardshell case and a lot cheaper than the GM recommended adapter and works just fine.

I like this one because it had a good quality latch to keep the Tesla charge plug affixed to the adapter. Surprisingly that's not a common thing though it is an important thing. Some have cheap ones or none at all. This one is one of the better ones out there.

I'm only a couple months in to EV ownership, mainly because I found a Fiat 500e for dirt cheap and after all the rebates I basically got paid to buy it. I was familiar with the fact that there are several different types of chargers and fittings but I neglected to fill my wife in on the differences. She limped in to a charge station a few weeks ago only to find that it would not charge our car and it had to be towed home. So far I have only charged at home and work so this was the first time I even thought of getting an adapter to be able to use other charge stations like the Tesla Destination chargers, which are everywhere. BTW an adapter wouldn't have worked in this case anyway since the 500e only charges on AC and she was at a DC charging station. So far this adapter looks to be well built and sturdy and the j1772 end fits nice and snug into my car. The unit is heavy (in a good way) and the electrical connections look to be high quality. I can't yet speak to its functionality because I've only charged at home so I haven't tried it out. I got this mainly for emergencies and that's where the nice size comes in. It is very small, like the size of a tennis ball, so it barely takes up any space in the car. The car is tiny so every cubic inch counts. I saw another user claim that it really ONLY fits at Tesla chargers, which I can't confirm since I haven't used it yet, but I definitely will not be taking my chances at other stations if and when the need for an emergency charge comes up.The only real reason I gave it 4 stars was because of the price. I don't necessarily think it's overpriced but there are cheaper options out there. For someone like me who will barely use it, I could have maybe gotten away with something cheaper. But, then again, I often tend to get bitten by "you get what you pay for".

Compared to some of the other NACS to J1772 adapters out there, this one is really small (about half the length compared to some of the other ones that are more handle-sized). Worked fine on my RAV4 Prime, although there's some "issues" I'll discuss later. A great thing I found out when testing with my multimeter is this adapter wires up the PP (proximity pilot) pin, which is not something you see on a lot of adapters like these (in fact, a lot of house chargers don't even have the PP pin wired up, NACS charger or J1772 charger). Compared to Lenz's own Gen 1 NACS to J1772 adapter, this Gen 2 is smaller.Downside number 1, the latch for the NACS is really wobbly. It doesn't affect quality nor functionality, but there's a lot of other adapters that have a bit more "refined-feeling" latch for the NACS port. Downside number 2, the J1772 male port is really, as Dankpods would say, "chewy". There's a lot of friction between the adapter and my RAV4 Prime's charging port, an amount I never really felt with public chargers, the included charger with the RAV4 Prime, nor other J1772 chargers I have. This does make this adapter feel a bit "uncomfortable" to use, but functionally, there's no issues with this.At the time of this review, it's $80 for this adapter. Lenz's own 1st gen NACS to J1772 at the time of this review is $55, which is a significant price difference. Sure the Gen 2 is smaller, but I'm not sure if it's worth the price difference. This isn't a perfect NACS to J1772 adapter, but it's probably one of the smallest, and actually wires up the PP pin between the 2 connectors, which isn't something you see often.
