These days many people don't listen to broadcast radio and stream through their phone or laptop. In some areas though, there are still broadcast stations worth listening to. Tech challenged people especially prefer to listen to broadcast radio instead of streaming. This little radio is great for that. It is small enough to travel with you but still big enough to sit on the counter for your favorite talk program or music station. For its size, it has a really good sound. Very nice quality in a small package. The radio has a hot receiver and pulls in distant stations without difficulty. It also has a sound generator that has 10 different sounds for background if you need some neutral noise for sleeping or concentrating on tasks. Easy to operate and has a large digital display. It will also connect to your BT device like a wireless speaker if you desire. The only thing I noticed that was a little annoying was the tuning dial. It is an rotary optical encoder type switch and sometimes the digits on the display don't change with each click of the switch if you go too fast or too slow. Other than that, it is a great inexpensive little basic radio (with a few extras) for anyone needing an easy to operate radio.

Piano and lullaby sound identical, (neither resemble a piano) top edge of the radio lists "white noise", thankfully there's no actual recording of 47 or a 47 deranged supporter to ensure the label is accurate.FM sounds fine, (it's DSP, hard to fail at this task) outside typical interior home EMI, for my uses, once I'm in the street, weak AM signals come in fine, quite surprised by this unit.Each function has a voice that indicates what the operator just did, (when it's turned on) all but the sound soother function are in a voice that resembles someone speaking while pinching their nose, for some reason, the sound soother function comes across as a clear female voice.When it comes on, it says:AM - "AM Mode"BT - "Bluetooth Mode"FM - "FM Mode"White Noise - "Natural sounds"Of which you have 10 choices to select from, not entirely accurate from label to sound.Plus, a 90 Min with 10 Min lower decreasing interval sleep timer, assuming one wants to end whichever mode they selected as an operator selected time interval.
