This Level 1 "portable EV charger" stopped working after fewer than 15 charges. Now it won't "connect" to car. I don't drive my car every day, so in the six weeks since I purchased this charger, I have used it fewer than 15 times. Now the display just says "Connecting" indefinitely and my Toyota Prius Plug-In Hybrid never charges. This car only requires about 2-1/2 hours to charge at the 10 Amp setting, so this charger has had fewer than 40 hours of light operation. I know that it's not the car, since my other Level 1 charger works just fine to charge the car. I would not buy this charger again. Sadly, I am past Amazon's "return window", so I have wasted the money to buy this charger. This is very frustrating. I do NOT recommend purchasing this charger.

I’ve been using the OMMC Portable Electric Vehicle Charger for a few weeks now, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised. It’s been a reliable and convenient addition to my EV charging routine. The 15 Amp power output is perfect for my daily needs, if my car is sitting for a while and the 25-foot cable gives me plenty of flexibility.I especially appreciate the smart app, which lets me schedule charging to fit my schedule even though I have a Tesla the app is good for this charger and easy to use. The charger’s build quality is excellent, and it’s been reliable in all weather conditions. It’s also very portable, so it’s easy to take with me when I need to charge away from home.While it’s a bit on the pricier side, I think the quality and features justify the cost. But there are other options for a cheaper price in a Level 1 charger.

I've gotten several of these units to test them out, so far they all stand up to the outdoor elements, and charges with no issues. I will report back if anything changes but so far so good. Checking the retail market on the pricing Amazon has the best pricing by far on these units. If anything changes i will let you know.

Much better level 1 charger than others I tried. App is working well, I can start charging off peak hour anytime I want from my phone and the screen is very clear, attractive to look at and 25ft just work fine with my usages. I got it cheap with coupon, might be it is new seller with no rating, took the opportunity to try it out, end out well.

The controls are easy enough to use (setting the max electricity output). My previous charger would pop the circuit sometimes, but with this one, I set it to 10AMPs MAX, and the breaker has not tripped since.

For the price, this unit has some of the best features including a digital display with all the data I need to ensure my car is charging properly (my EV does not display anything about the charging amperage). The wifi connected app is also great, I can access all this information without walking to the garage. The travel case and the mount for the charger box and plug are also nice included accessories. The only thing I'd change would be making the wall plug a 90° so it hangs more securely from the plug, but if you are using this in your own garage, the included mount will relieve the strain on the plug. Definitely would recommend as a replacement OEM home charger.
