Nice light tool, very compact, but it won't fit in the handlebar of my Trek Xcaliber. I put a caliper on it. The body is 16.93 mm, the screw-on cap is 17.13 mm, and the inner diameter of the bar is 16.95 mm. The brass machined end is just too wide. The body of the tool will fit without the end cap, but what's the point of that? Havent decided whether I'll keep it, but one of the reasons I bought it was for the handlebar storage. BTW, its not the grip. I took the grip off and tried, no luck.

My bars wouldn’t accept it. It seems the finished end of my bars may be slightly narrower than expected, even though I have a mirror on one already and bar plugs on the other and that worked ok. The seam between the brass and aluminum casing on this kit would catch on the interior edge of the bar hole and go no further. I guess I could have sanded it a little and maybe made it work, but I was worried it wouldn’t come out easily when I needed it on the road. So I’m gonna carry a kit like this in my tube bag.

The Scotch tape is a lot cheaper and the results will be the same. Useless tool. Sealing material routinely blows out of the tire at around 30 lb of pressure and never seals.

The description says it comes with the mutlitool as well as the tire plugger. WTF

fits so so in an alloy bar but not at all in carbon bars. stil cool and will put it in a seat roll

Great product! Very sleek design and great construction. The tool fits perfectly in my Canyon Ultimate CP10 carbon fiber handlebars.10/11/2022 Update: I finally had an opportunity to use the tool to attempt a tubeless tire repair on GP5000's and it unfortunately does not work well with road tires. The knurled section is too deep, and risks hitting the rim tape. Inserting the bacon strips in the small hole was difficult and caused my tire to unseat from the rim. I've since used Stan's Darts and worked a lot better for repairing the hole. I decreased my rating from 5 to 4 stars since I believe it will still work for MTB's.

Fit really well inside my Raceface flat bars. Fits great inside most of the aluminum flat bars I tried it in. Carbon bars you have to do a little bit more finessing to get perfect.
