The motor, which is suppose to be hardly detectable, was very loud. I had ordered this “Genuine OEM” motor to hopefully avoid any issues, but was not so fortunate. I returned the motor with no hassle and was promptly credited for the cost.

Symptom of my LG LFCS25426D /00 was that freezer was working fine and maintaining freezer temperature by my fridge was warm. I had an extended plan with my retail store but they couldn't get anyone out for 3 weeks and when my appointment came and went and no one should up I decided to take matters into my own hands.We had removed the shelves and baskets of the fridge and actually noticed the temperatures seemed normal and we were wondering if the problem was resolved but after adding shelves back, we put a thermometer and a can of soda on the top shelf and discovered that it was still warm. So with that information and some extra googling we determined it was the evaporative fan motor.The part we received (next day after ordering) was what appeared to be a direct replacement.. the motor is actually behind the back panel in the freezer section (not the upper fridge). There are YouTube videos that show step-by-step how to easily replace and I had the part in and out within about 30 minutes.The result after powering the fridge back on and going through the initial cooling cycle, the fridge would cycle between 33 degrees and 43 degrees which is within normal cooling cycles at a 38 degree setting for the refrigerator.Overall, I'm satisfied with the part and the ease of the repair.

Fixed my LG fridge that was howling noise. Be sure to match up the connector, some motors have a different connector. Here's a tip, when prying off the retainer on the plastic fan blade, lay a piece of plastic wrap over it, to keep it from flying away, mine came off at 100 mph and landed 20 feet away, I was fortunate to see it land. Take a lot of pictures during dis-assembly.

the description wasn’t well detailed as to which LG fridge it was compatible with. Everything about the evaporator matched our old one except the plug. We had to splice the wires and swap the plugs. It ended up working perfectly! Glad we got this over getting new fridge! Saved us a lot of money.

Used it to fix frig. Works great. Motor itself was a perfect fit for my Kenmore Elite (re-badged LG) Harness was not plug compatible but I just spliced the old harness on to it. Wires were all the same color making this easy.
