Yeah it didn't come in the handy pail like the picture, but it did have a nice red tag on one end and I haven't run into any tangles yet. It's chain, just like it's supposed to be. Would have given it more stars if the pic was representative, but after reading the reviews I knew what I was getting.

Only way to buy this chain. Buying from the big box stores you pay 3 times per foot.

Nice looking chain...in a cardboard box, as other reviewers have said. I opened it and grabbed at a few spots, hoping to find the end link. After 3 or 4 tries, I started thinking it would have been nice if they had something on the end to help finding it. Then I saw a piece of red something. Thinking it was just extraneous material, I picked it out. Then I saw that it was a little bag tie that was wrapped around the end link! I pulled it and a nice length of chain came out of the box...no tangles! So far, so good.

The product image on Amazon clearly shows it in a plastic drum with a hole in the cover through which the chain can be drawn. I assumed that would make it easy to use without tangling or knotting. I am very unhappy to report that the product was shipped in a common corrugated cardboard cube box about 6" x 6" x 6". The chain was just thrown into the box. I'm quite sure that when I go to remove it for the application it is intended it will be tangled. That will require way too much time and will no doubt be frustrating. The listing for this product is deceptive and perhaps intentionally so. If the cost involved in returning this and reordering this outweighs the benefit I'll keep it,
