Like the tape but very hard to cut with scissors because it so strong and stick to the scissors. You have to hold it tight so it won't touch if it touch then you have to throw that part away because you can't pull a loose

I have 2 Bull Terriers who treat my hallway like a sports complex, and I have not been able to find a solution to getting my runners to stay in place. I have tried pads and corner stickies (both the adhesive and reusable kind), but eventually one of my dogs goes sliding down the hall, gets a paw under a corner, and up they come. This tape is great because I am able to apply a LOT of it, in long strips at the ends (especially), to make it much harder for the dogs to get a claw or paw under it and start lifting. I applied it as shown in the picture I submitted, but all the way down on both ends (eventually). I put the large X shapes on each end, strips down both sides, and a few pieces as an X in the center. It has been on a month now and the runner is still in place...that's a first for us! They were able to lift it a bit here and there, but I promptly step down on it and it retains its shape and position.I applied it to a few other problem areas--for example, the large rug in my living room has a fairly thick pad under it and one corner that keeps rolling up (someone left a chair on it in a weird position), so I just applied some to the corner that rolls up and it hasn't happened since...it has stayed down and behaved perfectly! This is a versatile product that is easy to work with and really works. If it can withstand the abuse my dogs dish out, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it as something that can handle just about any rug issue. Fwiw, the tape is thin, easy to cut, not terribly hard to separate from the paper, and you get quite a few rolls here for the price. I did use a lot on my hallway runners, but I wanted to make sure they were secure. In lower traffic areas, I only used a bit on each corner to keep the rugs from migrating. So far, everything has absolutely stayed in place as I had hoped.

We used the tape to secure a rug on the stone flooring in our house. It works too well and is a pain to remove. The tape leaves some adhesive. I had to use a heat gun, scraper, and goo gone to get it all off. It sticks pretty well though I haven't had a chance to test longevity.

This product has vary tacky adhesive on both sides of a white carrier that appears to be a thin, tough foam product. In the adhesive industry, this would be described as an "aggressive" adhesive. For my application I would have preferred a clear carrier, but this seems to work OK. I'm using a couple 2"-3" long pieces to stick a plastic floor mat in place over medium shag carpet, since the little prongs on the back of the floor mat don't keep it stationary when I roll my chair onto the mat. This seems to help, but the white tape does show through the clear mat. My main concern is whether it is completely removable from both surfaces at some future point. The listing claims that it can be removed with no residue, but generally the longer an adhesive sits, the stronger the bond becomes, and I haven't had this product long enough to fully test this. I also plan to try this out for woodworking projects where a removable tape is required to temporarily hold down templates. The tape does have a distinct odor when first opened, but when applied it isn't noticeable. The cardboard core has no manufacturer identification or information, and the box it came in didn't either. There was no instruction sheet or Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) information included. The value of this tape is up to the potential purchaser, but the current price ($20 for four 11-yard rolls) seemed kind of high to me.

The tape rolls come in a basic box which is fine by me since the product is what's important in this case. I could tell right away it was quite sticky because I had to peel away the clear shrink wrap in a few pieces. Once you get that off there is a small square piece of tape over the very end of the roll - peel that off and it's ready to go. I suggest peeling the very end and placing it where you'd like then pulling the roll away as you go to keep the product flat. It bends and folds fairly easy so you'll need some tension to keep it from doing so. Once placed then peel the paper backing off to reveal the second sticky side. This stuff is thin but very tacky so I think it could be used for different things. Pretty much anything you use double sided tape for - except this product is much stronger than regular clear double sided tape in a basic roll - so it's even more versatile. I'll probably use it to hang some unframed posters after I take care of all the rugs. It's a good product to have even if you don't need to tape down rugs.

I have a few area rugs in my house that have become tripping hazards or slide around on our hardwood floors so was excited to try this tape. I have grip pads under my area rugs but some of them still get picked up at the corners or the edges just constantly lift up if someone walks into it.The tape is very easy to use…it’s double sided and you just place it onto your rug and then place the other side down onto your floor. I have had it for a couple weeks now and it has been working great…the rug is staying down, has not lifted up even when my dogs runs around on it and seem to be holding a strong grip. I am very impressed with this so far…i love how easy it is to use and you can cut the tape to whatever lengths you need. I went around and did it on the edges of most of my rugs and on some did it across the middle where I don't have grip pads and it has worked very well.Would recommend this…easy to use and feels like a good value for what you get considering it’s not something you would need to repurchase often once you’ve used it on your existing rugs.
