About this item

  • DURABLE AND STRONG: Genuine M2 high speed steel with the black coating ensures durability and sharpness, reduces the friction, runs cooler, performs well in heat, corrosion and rust resistance, for longer cutting edge life even at extreme temperatures
  • EXTRA LARGE STEPS DRILL: 10 size multiple hole stepped up bits, have many steps which contain multiple diameters, convenient to drill different hole size by using a step drill rather than many drills, ideal for DIY projects at home, garden, workshop
  • HIGH PERFORMANCE: Split tip is at 118 degrees for better wear resistance. Double helix blade design makes smoother cuts, easier to dislodge material particles and cleaner drilling operations, can be used with electric drills, rechargeable drills and more
  • ONE BIT FOR ALL DRILLING: One bit for 1/4" to 1-3/8" 10 steps hole sizes: 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4", 7/8", 1", 1-1/8", 1-1/4", 1-3/8", so you can drill up holes with different diameters, saving your time and efforts to change bits
  • WELL DESIGNED: Provides stability during the drilling process, minimizes noise and vibration, which improves work efficiency and safety, bringing a smoother and quieter drilling experience

When comparing to Milwauke step bits, this bit is not very sharp. I'm keeping it since I'm only using this with plastic

I’ve seen these for years but never had a use for one. Recent I bought two door knob escutcheons that were two small to accommodate the knobs. Using this drill I easily slightly expanded the center holes and now they fit. I’m quite satisfied.

Cuts well and has maintained sharpness after using it to enlarge holes in steel electrical cabinets. I also used it to make a bolt hole in a slotted bracket. Drill bits don't like drilling holes in a slot. This worked very well. I don't use a step drill very much; my last one lasted decades until it got too worn to cut properly. I can't rate durability or longevity until I have used this enough to see how it lasts, but from my usage so far I believe this one should also last a very long time.
