I bought this to bring some dishes to a potluck. Transporting these dishes was easy. This held the heat and things didn't splash around. Even had space to tuck serving spoons in the pocket. This carrier was better than the actual potluck.

This carrier is great to transport your food to gatherings. Seems to be very well made. I’ve used it twice so far and was surprised how long it kept the food warm. I love the two layers so I only need one carrier. It’s a good size so that I was able to fit the serving utensils inside as well. The carrier is quite sturdy so when I needed to transport a heavy pan of lasagna, along with another dish, it was no problem.

I needed a casserole carrier for 2 casseroles. I wanted them to remain hot while I transported them to a church dinner 10 min away. I ordered the gray carrier which can expand to hold 2 casseroles. The outside is good looking with strong double zippers on each ‘tier’ that can meet in the middle and slide apart to open each end. There is also a small zippered flat area on the top side that could hold small oven mitts or a serving spoon or two. The interior lining is a foil-like silver color that is a heavy duty insulated material. It would most likely keep things hot or cold and quite likely could accomodate one of each. In my case I needed hot casseroles. The casseroles were taken straight from the oven, given a minute on a cooling rack so I could cover them in tin foil and then each of the 9x11 glass dishes were placed in the designated compartments of the bag. Though I thought the bag may need something on the bottom to make it sturdy, it was not necessary. The straps on each side meet over the top of the zipped carrier and are held together with strong velcro. After the 10 min drive we took the casserole bag to the kitchen and unzipped the top compartment. The glass dish was still as hot as it was coming out of the oven! In fact we had forgotten our oven mitts and needed to borrow a set in order to lift the casserole out of the bag. We had the same experience with the 2nd casserole. The dishes were too hot to handle without mitts. The casseroles were placed on a table piping hot & I was delighted to see that. In fact, I marveled at it. The insulated carrier actually worked. It was my first purchase of such a thing and I was impressed. Overall it is very good quality and I would definitely purchase another one if I needed to. Quite unexpectedly, we also received compliments on the bag itself and its quality and people asked where we got it.KbL
