This is a very strong Jack. I bought this for a few DIY Projects and to rotate my tires occasionally. Lent it to a mechanic for like a year because his main jack failed, he used it every day for multiple jobs, and saw him lift a Ford Expedition with it. its going on three years now since I've had this, Jack, and it still works like a charm

It was a great jack for about five uses. Now my car is on jack-stands and I cannot get it down because this floor jack has FAILED. It will move but will not press hard enough to lift a feather one it touches the car. DO NOT BUY THIS JACK!!! Instead of driving my car now, because it is "jack-stand purgatory," I have to walk to an auto parts store, hope they have a floor jack, and walk back with a new, expensive, and probably VERY heavy jack... down the side of the road, no sidewalk, for five miles...it is July in the South. Think I am mad?!!! NEVER will I buy another floor jack from Amazon. This is the second, although different brand, floor jack that has almost immediately failed...

The low profile makes it possible to get under equipment and other items that our other jack is too high for. Well made.

This thing is heavy compared to my "racing jack" I bought at HBRFRT ~8 years ago, which I like. That thing has started to rust and I don't trust it anymore. It also moved around slightly on smooth floors, as it was lighter weight. I also wanted something for my Type R (lower-profile) and the dual pistons sold me.They ship it in the factory box so you're going to have some roughing up of it. The delivery drivers and air service people aren't going to baby a ~70+ item. Jack itself was in fine condition. There's a Wally-World review leaving one star as they mention the need to fill the handle with oil...Yes, the instruction aren't perfect but DO NOT FILL THE HANDLE WITH OIL. It was meant to state to slightly lubricated the metal areas that adjoin the two pieces in required, I didn't. Not actually pour oil into the holes...come on man. Everything went together fine. Will be using this to install winter wheels and Rally A. guards in the next month or so.

This really is a super low profile jack. It's strong too. I use it to work on my Dodge neon and the jack will lift it up laughingly. With about 6 to 8 good pumps I have my little car way up in the air. I simply slide my jack stands underneath and get to work. One minor issue I had with it when it arrived is that one of the front wheels wasn't rolling smoothly when it arrived. I'd have to make excessive force to move the jack around. I took off the front wheels and found out that there was old grease-like material that had build up in between, causing the wheel to jam. I scraped it off and applied fresh grease, now it's rolling like it had ball bearings.Oh and about the packaging... mine came in a not-so-healthy box too, but it came complete and unharmed. For something over 80 lbs, you can expect a regular carton box to smash and crumble. At least the seller or shippers have the decency to secure the box with straps so it won't bust open. The way I see it the seller had 2 options for shipping out this nice, heavy duty jack: 1) ship out in cheap packaging and offer it at an unbeatable price, or 2) build a tough, all weather, lumber casing with pallette base but for an additional $100 - $150 on the price tag.If you ask me, I'm glad they went with option 1. For years I've wanted a nice jack at a nice price.

Only thing you should be careful of is when you use it deep under the car for example at a single lift point, if the entire jack is under the car, do not remove the handle. If you do, the socket into which the handle fits moves up and rests vertical. That means you can not get the handle back into it to release it because the car is over it! Why would I want to remove the handle after lifting it in the first place? Because it usually poses a hazard to people walking around the car, having a pole sticking out of the edge of the car can be dangerous. I had to fashion a tool that fitted into the socket for the handle to turn the square shaped release screw (after placing jacks to take the car load). I feel this is a design flaw and that the manufacturers should consider adding a lock that stops the handle socket going up after the handle is removed (I can provide them with a design!). Apart from that this is a big jack fitting easily under a BMW 323, it's very solid and heavy. Now I need to buy a bigger house and garage to accommodate it!

Very sturdy Jack it was much larger and heavier than I expected but it lifts smoothly and quickly, gets under all the areas of my car and seems like a very solidly built product that will last a long time.

The jack is very heavy, and that's a good thing. It is well built, I have only used it once so far, and that why I gave it a 4 star. Using it to lift a car it took 3 pumps to get it to the lifting support, 5 pumps later the front tire was 6 inches from the ground and I could place the jack stand under the vehicle, to test the jack I didn't lower the weight of the car onto the stand while changing the oil, to see if the there would be any leakage and to establish some degree of trust with the jack. 30 Minutes later the distance between the stand and the frame of the car was the same, so it passed the 1st test, and I can trust it a little bit now. I put a heavy lubricant on the handle end to eliminate the metal on metal friction and also on the wheels. This 3 ton jack is a bit overkill for a car, at 10 pumps of the handle I could see the outside edge of the back tire was off the ground and the lift arm was only half the way up. Hopefully this is the last jack I will have to buy. I will revise my 4 star rating after a few more uses and it is broken in a bit more.
