I used both of these while rotating my tires. The rail on my car didn't bend or crush, so they served their purpose. One of the two got a decent sized dent on the bottom side where the jack was pressing on it, so I am not sure about how long they will last.

I have a couple of "pucks" for protecting the pinch welds on my vehicle. However, this is the only one I own that is made of heavy duty rubber. After using this rubber version I am sold on this being the way to go! The metal ones do work great and they often have magnets but with the rubber it is not metal against metal so it just looks and sounds way better when jacking up your vehicle. These are on the smaller side so just make sure they match up to your floor jack properly. Great value for the price!

I ordered this 2-piece jack pad set for my floor jacks. Until now, I have been using a scrap 2X4 wood block, but that does not always work.Two features attracted me to this product.First and foremost, I wanted the crush resistance provided by the heavy-duty rubber.Second, the slit on the top of the pad fits nicely into the welded seam under my car, giving me more confidence that my vehicle will be secure before climbing underneath it.I also appreciate the protective aspect of having these pads because they prevent metal-to-metal contact between the jack and the car’s frame.My overall experience with these jack pads has been favorable. They do what they say, and everything said about them in the product description is accurate. If you are in the market for jack pads, you owe it to yourself to consider this product.Note:Don’t assume these jack pads will fit your jack.
