I put this door closer on my back door and it works great. If you open the door more than 80 degrees it will hold it open. Less than that or if you push it less than 80 degrees it closes the door perfectly. It has an adjustment screw to change the closing speed and I found this to work well and it was easy to set it to the way I wanted. Install is pretty easy and the instructions are straight forward and included templates for where to drill the screw pilot holes. Please not that this closer only works on doors that swing outward. If I had a second door like the backdoor, I'd get another one of these.

ADA compliant closer and great for residential spaces. It has a self-closing mechanism and 180 degree opening range. Straightforward - looks good and quick on the install.

This closer keeps the door from staying open, so it's great for my back door. I don't have to worry about accidentally not closing it anymore.

Nice black door closer for home use or light commercial. Going to put it on my garage door. Perfect so the dog doesn’t run out when I am coming in or the kids forget to close the door. Love the finish.

Light duty, but works well in a residential application. I installed it on my garage door and it keeps the door from staying open when I don't want it to. Would've preferred if there was a silver finish available, but functionality is good.
