I originally got these to keep swinging baby gates closed to keep the dogs out of certain rooms, but these things are HEAVY DUTY!!! They are constructed with high quality metal, and they're definitely made for much heavier doors. I will find a use for them, but I'll have to find some smaller ones to keep these gates shut.

Suffisant mais une boite en carton recyclable aurait été aussi bien. Le blister aurait eu son intérêt pour un présentoir.💚 Ce que j’apprécie 💚💚 La qualité de l’acier inoxydable utilisé, qui donne une impression de robustesse.💚 La facilité d’installation grâce aux instructions claires fournies.💚 La possibilité de régler la tension du ressort pour ajuster la vitesse de fermeture grâce à la clé hexagonale fournie.⚠️ Ce que je regrette ⚠️⚠️ Le produit n’est pas adapté pour les portes lourdes ou de grande taille.⚠️ Il est possible de régler la force… mais il est difficile de le faire pour trouver le bon dosage.⚠️ Vu la force de l’appareil, il faudra prévoir des vis bien adaptées à votre porte et son dormant.⚠️ La pièce sur laquelle appuie la tige est en plastique. J’espère qu’elle sera solide dans le temps.En conclusion, ce ferme-porte à ressort en acier inoxydable est un choix basique pour ceux qui recherchent une solution pour la fermeture de leurs portes avec un faible passage. Il vaudrait mieux se tourner vers des grooms plus structurés pour les portes à passage intense.

This arm works well as a gate closer. Keeping my fence gate closed is very important to me. My dogs life could depend on it being closed.This door closer works well, allowing the gate to still be easy to open, and providing self close and latch properties for those inconsiderate enough to just let it go after walking through it. It has enough strength to close the gate with enough force to latch the gate closed. It can close and latch even if I open the gate only a foot or so and then let it go.These closer's springs are adjustable. So over time, when the spring weakens, I can simply go out and tighten them up and they will be working again.I feel that under $33.00 for TWO good gate closers is a very nice price. I am happy with these and I am giving them 5 stars!

El resorte en sí se aprecia de muy buena calidad de acabado y de funcionamiento. El cuerpo es metálico con acabado cromado, incluso los tornillos también son cromados. Lo que me preocupa es la pieza de la 3ª foto, que va fijada a la puerta y es por donde desliza la varilla cilíndrica que es la que ejerce fuerza para cerrar la puerta. Y esa pieza es de plástico cromado, por lo que se supone que va a durar 20 veces menos que el conjunto en sí, que es metálico. Eso se verá con el tiempo de uso, en realidad no parece que se vaya a romper el primer día.....Por lo demás, todo correcto, y realmente si funciona y se mantiene el correcto funcionamiento en el tiempo, se convierte en una compra interesante, ya que tiene un precio atractivo y vienen 2 uds.

These door closers have good strong springs, which is their major positive factor. They are easy enough to install, but the problem comes with the provided installation hardware. The spring is so strong that the screws provided for installation are simply too short, and began to pull out of the wooden doorframe almost immediately. Reinstalling with my own, much longer wood screws seems to have solved that problem, for now, but another issue is the fact that the slider that attaches to the door is plastic, and feels very cheap. So far it has held up, but the metal rod that goes from the closer to the slider has popped out of the slider on more than one occasion, and the plastic feels like it might break. These work fairly well, as far as it goes, but for the price I expected somewhat better quality.
