Solved the problem in a jiffy! No need to chuck your lamps and lanterns to be able to use on a larger support pole or post.. just use this handy adapter!It’s made of solid metal, with a nice smooth exterior and quality paint finish. The measurements are exactly as specified.It comes with enough hardware ( screws ) to install it easily. The only things we needed were our lamp, a pair of Kleins, a butane lighter to shrink the heat shrink tubing over the electrical butt connectors that we crimped the wiring on our lamp to the original electrical wiring with.This all went down in under 30 minutes. This adapter made it possible. We highly recommend it!

Top job in the welding, grinding and finish work. The threads are cut directly into the tubing, so not quite ready for a lot of torque, but with 6 bolts (mine were Stainless Steel) to lock it in, you should be just fine.I keep up with my reviews and will revisit this one should the need arise.I give this adapter my Big-Foot “Stomp” of approval and 5 stars!
