Finally got around to using this. Does good job cutting small limbs. The biggest gripe I have is that the battery does not charge. Had it plugged in for several hours. Anyone having this same issue?

This thing far exceeded my expectations. Trimmed a whole fallen branch from my maple tree with ease and on one charge. Comes with 2 batteries which would come in handy on bigger jobs. Perfect saw for my needs. lightweight and easy to use.

I am blown away by how well this works. My husband has used it cut down some 6" or more in diameter shrubs in our front yard. I will say the battery gets hot, but he was able to but through quite a few shrubs before he needed to let it take a break. For the price, I would say you cannot go wrong with this! You won't regret this purchase!!!

I’ll probably gave more stars if the package really came with replacement chain. This is the second package that shipped, still no replacement chain as listed. The package was delivered as it scheduled and packaged well.

The main reason that I purchased is because of it's interchangeability with Makita 18v batteries (even the color matches!). I tested it out with my batteries and the voltage difference (20v vs 18v) didn't seem to make any difference in operation. I'm not sure if I trust using the batteries the other way but it's nice to know that they all fit.I am super surprised that the kit includes 2 batteries, I would expect this to cost way over $100. And the batteries are pretty good, I was goofing around cutting stuff for about 10 minutes and it still showed over 80% charge. The batteries will probably outlast your desire to keep sawing! If you are new to chainsaws, please spend the 5 minutes to read the manual and understand what the chain tension should be and how to adjust it. This is not something you can just ignore. It includes an oil bottle but no oil for the chain. For long life make sure you read the manual on how to apply the oil. There is not an auto-oiler like on big chainsaws, you need to manually oil the chain between uses or probably every 5 minutes of use. This may seem like a pain but it will be worth it for the longevity of the chain. Honestly I'm glad that it is a manual oil bar because having an oil reservoir on a tool like this would mean that it would constantly be a mess. Trust me the manual oiling is the way to go for something like this. While we are on oil, you can either get bar/chain oil from any hardware store or even walmart or you can just use vegetable oil from your kitchen. I know a couple people that run vegetable oil even in large chainsaws and swear by it. For a tool like this that will get limited use, I wouldn't mess around with the petroleum stuff, just keep it easy.So far my only negatives are that it is super tempting to stand it upright on the battery but it is nose heavy and it will tip over forward. You always need to lay it down on it's side. Also the gloves are small and junk, do yourself a favor and get some real safety gloves when using this tool, they may cost $15 extra but it's a heck of a lot cheaper than a trip to the ER. I already have good gloves so I don't care but make sure you are staying safe.Overall this is a great tool, it will definitely save me getting out the big saw for little jobs. This is ready to go at a moment's notice.

As others have mentioned, only came with the chain on the saw, not the spare one pictured and mentioned. Gloves and glasses are super economy, i probably will not use. Does come with 2 batteries and the saw runs on my Makita batteries, however the batteries that come with the saw DO NOT work in my Makita tools. Made quick work of limbs for firewood, easier than hand tools or getting the gas saw out for small jobs.
