Solid spark plug socket but misleading, says it contains a rubber grommet inside but it’s actually a magnet. The inside magnets tend to crumble after a while. Socket sometimes gets stuck on the plugs something to note.

the package was sealed and the right Lisle holder was there, but the socket had been replaced with a Mastercraft 14 mm socket - waste of time to deal with this.

Did a spark plug change the other day and this came in handy. It is narrow so it is very easy to get into those deep spark plugs. I was surprised it was magnetic which made it even better. I think the description stated it had those old style rubber washers that come lose, but it is actually magnetic and works great!

This socket was exactly the tool I required on my Mercedes’ M278 engine’s cylinder number 8. Tight space up against the firewall on the driver side. In addition you will require an one and half inch extension. I had another similar 12 point / 14mm but given its length I did not have the space to get in with the rachet or my torque wrench. Again it was the length and the swivel that made all the difference !Never did I have an issue with the socket separating from the extension or ratchet.
