Did exactly what I needed it for and had blades for different materials. Unfortunately I will probably never get the opportunity to use it again unless I move. Not much need for a saw that powerful in an apartment but I had fun for 5 minutes, scared the 💩 out of the neighbor's, well worth it.

I do a lot of construction and yard projects and am always looking for another saw to add to my set. I ordered this reciprocating saw for smaller jobs and also as a grab and go for when I go to help friends and family. I have been doing carpentry as well as construction projects for over thirty years, so I know what to look for and what to avoid. Overall and based only on my first impressions and testing in the shop I think that this is a fairly good little saw. With that said I would suggest that this saw should be primarily looked at as a light to medium duty saw; I wouldn't want to use this for a day of cutting metal or projects like that. The saw is a little bit smaller than a standard reciprocating saw and actually feels lightweight but yet still solidly made. The plug in is only a two prong and I do wish that it would have the standard three prong grounded end instead. They included a set of blades that are ok but definitely lighter and cheaper than I usually use. I was able to cut through various types of wood with them however for most of my projects I will use my regular name brand blades which do work with this saw. I did notice that the first time I used the saw there was a distinct smell of burned wiring or motor but that does tend to happen with new tools. I paid attention to the saw and by the third cut the smell was pretty much gone or maybe only a faint lingering aroma remained. I am continuing to monitor it and have no issues with my limited use so far but it's something I will be keeping an eye on, much like I would do with any of my power tools. If time does show issues or if the saw quits working, I will be sure to come back and update my review. For now, I have no problem giving the saw four out of five stars simply because I want to see how it lasts but with that said, I think that as long as you use it right this should be a good little saw.

LITELEPH Reciprocating Saw is lightweight and easy to maneuver. However with only 120V 6.0 Amp Variable Speed, this Electric Hand Saw isn't really meant for heavy duty projects such as cutting down a dead tree. It comes 5 Saw Blades and I have already completely ruined 2 blades after trying to remove a dead tree trunk.

This saw has pretty good power. It handles cutting PVC and galvanized pipes with ease without bogging down. The included blades are also decent. I like size of it too. It's pretty compact. So far it's been chugging along without issues. I like having one with a plug because it seems like reciprocating saws seem to eat up batteries quickly when they are cordless.

The saw is decent but it did not come with the blades. If an item is supposed to come with accessories and it doesn't come with them, I can't recommend the product. It is either a lack of quality control, or just an inaccurate listing. Either way, I don't like it.

The switch on my antique Crafty saw I have had for over 40 years had to be wired to one speed making it start with a jerk - not very inviting. Like most parts for older tools, search as I might there was just no finding a replacement. But then, if I did find it the price would probably be almost as much as this brand new saw. I don't use a jab saw too often and prefer a jig saw for such jobs - but sometimes you can't get a jig saw where you need it (like cutting an installed exhaust pipe) and there is no substitute. Having a slow start is a must or the blade is going to bounce all over the place until you can get a groove to use as a guide. I was able to make this saw start very slow until that guide groove was cut. The stroke is only 4/5 inch which is a bit shallow, but still effective. I don't like that the foot is a little smaller than my old saw and to reverse it you have to take part of the housing off with the enclosed hex wrench. To be honest though, I have never reversed the foot on my old saw. The real negative with this tool is that the quick release clamp is very awkward to use since you have to get your fingers in a tight place and turn a somewhat resistant spring to release the clamp. There is a small tab on the "nut" but it is very small and hard to grab and turn. But at least I know the clamp is solid and the blade will stay put. It doesn't come with a case which is sad, but it did fit in my old Crafty case. At the price offered here I think this is a good deal.

Packs a good punch. Came with a few blades. Cord is a solid length, a couple feet, at least three but seemed longer. Smaller body is more lightweight and compact, therefore easier to handle but the err well handle itself is still full sized, further adding ease, maneuverability.Includes blades that I can't find mention of on the box or in the manual, which lack labels identifying any specs or the intended material. A couple very long wood blades included, and some standard or shorter length metal with woods nails I think. The more you hold down the trigger button, the harder it works. Smooth sliding intensity scale that gradients with more pressure on the trigger. The black cagey bit that youn press flush against whatever you're cutting is adjustable slightly, maybe an inch or so, by loosening two hexkey head screws on underside.

Having a corded reciprocating saw is more convenient than constantly changing out battery packs. The saw has a strong motor and trigger that you can control as you are cutting. This saw can handle cutting through 2x4 and 4" branches. This saw cuts through tree limbs like butter up to 4". We were able to clear the backyard with overgrown brush using a long extension cord. The saw came with an assortment of blades to use right out of the box. This saw is definitely stronger than my 20V battery-operated one. The quick release chuck makes blade changes fast and simple.
