Took this on a trip to Alaska for fishing and experienced rain every day. Pulled this out to test it and quickly found it soaked through almost immediately and so did my lower layers with barely any pressure applied. I put this jacket away to slowly dry and put back on my actually waterproof $300 jacket that I was hoping I wouldn't need to get fish smell and slime on. My recommendation is save your money, then buy once, cry once and get a nicer jacket from REI or similar.
