Good product. Only issue was the seal wasn’t on the screw cap good. Had issues with getting it on and not leaking. Got it now, but it leaked the first two fill ups.

The company first sent me only the top white part. I let them lnow and they sent me a new product entirely. It holds a lot, does not leak. The chickens really like the deep trough. Much easier for them to use. You should always elevate waterers though--easier to drink from and gets less gunk kicked into it.

So far I love this waterer, it’s easy to lean, raised up off the ground to avoid some of the dirt, perfect height for hens and is easy to clean and fill. I like that there is a refillable part on the bottom so I don’t have to remove the base every time, it hasn’t leaked yet.

Anyone with poultry on a dirt run knows how much sand and dirt they can kick into the waterer. The raised base helps with this, and it stay a bit cleaner. I like the size. I have to carry it from the house to the run, so a bigger font is too heavy. Not sure what the purpose of the removable black insert in the bottom is - maybe for a heater? No purpose for me. Needs to be tight so it won't leak. Happy with the waterer. Seems sturdy, works well, easy to clean.
