One star if that.These are so poorly made.Holes done line up. And a bunch don’t even have holes where it says there should be.It’s cheap wood at best, and clearly isn’t weather ready!It will rot in the rain.I bought these to save on time for a project, and wish I had just gone to the hardware store and did it myself.Also one of them didn’t even come with screws so I had to go to the store anyway to get screws!

No stars! We were so disappointed with the little library. It was advertised as being outdoor waterproof but after putting it out for one night and it rained, the wood was warped, leaving big gaps where the pieces were joined together. Obviously it was not waterproof. The window fell off. This is very bad advertising. It was in such bad shape that we couldn't even return it!!

This is *not* good for outside libraries. We've had to do multiple fixes to keep it upright and finally have to just let it go. Its really cute but would work best indoors.

This product didn’t last four months outside. We stained and caulked to seal the box. In the rain, the door cannot be opened. The side wall separated. We will need to replace the box and never buy this product again.

This little house was exactly what I was hoping for. I am surprised others didn't have the same experience! I have always wanted a little library, and I am delighted with the one I bought. I did not have any missing parts. I painted mine for color and for added protection, but other than the paint and the masonry screws I purchased to install, everything I needed was included and as described. The building process was easy and fun for me - and I am the kind of person that goofs every handy project at least a little! So I was very pleased. I will say that the roof is a lightweight material. It feels like I could snap it in my hand. It is weatherproof and has held up fine so far, though. I have had this in front of my house for about six months. We get a lot of sun, heat, wind, dust, and only a tiny bit of rain where I live. No damage has occurred other than a little rusting at the latch. I may need to replace that small part down the road, but not any time soon. The books inside have been well protected. I get at least a couple visitors daily, and I have had nothing but positive feedback. I absolutely would recommend this product based on my experience. I think these libraries are so fun to have in the community, and I am grateful to have found one that suited my needs so well!

Subject: Issue with Assembly – Missing Pre-Drilled Holes in PanelDear Seller,I recently purchased the book library from your site on Amazon, and have encountered an issue during assembly. In Step 2 of the instructions, the panel labeled number three is shown to have four pre-drilled holes facing outwards, which are necessary for attaching the front door in Step 3. However, the panel I received does not have these holes drilled in, making it impossible to properly secure the front door without risking damage to the wood.I would appreciate your guidance on how to resolve this issue without compromising the integrity of the product. This was such a fun project that I was so excited for however after many issues getting it here the product finally showed up and is broken and missing all the hardware so I will have to repair it and buy all the screws required separately.

This cute little library is packed well. It comes wrapped in foam with a foam layer between each piece. Construction was easy and it conveniently came with a screwdriver with the screws to assist in assembly. Each piece was screwed together and had pre-drilled holes. It went together pretty quickly. The wood seems to be a soft wood and the roof is some really hard foam with a plastic-like shiny surface for the top. The glass-looking portion is actually made of plastic. I'm guessing this is made for indoor use but I will be painting and sealing mine so I can leave it outside. The size is smaller than some of the ones I have seen out in the wild but absolutely perfect for one shelf of books if that is what you're using it for. I will be using mine as a "take a gift, leave a gift" library and the size is perfect..

I took a chance on this as it had maybe 1 review when I purchased and was pleasantly surprised. It's not the sturdiest of materials but it was easy to put together and everything functions properly. I painted the inside and outside, caulked all seams inside and out as well as the window area so it is waterproof. I added some contact paper to the top as the roof is foam board. For the price it's a great starter Library. Will update this review once I've had it for about a year. I don't expect it to last for 5+ years but hopefully it will last atleast a few seasons.

First and foremost, this thing is in no way water resistant, despite the description. The roof seems to be made of foam board. It was easy enough to assemble, however: the screws provided were not long enough to bite into the joined pieces. The provided screwdriver was the wrong size for the door hinge screws. If you assemble it as directed you will have a very difficult time getting the door on. I ended up using wood glue and the extra screws to reinforce the walls by way of a power drill, and sealed the seams with caulk. I used some extra shingles for the roof. It's a good enough base, but not at all what is described.

Flimsy roof as others have stated. Mine arrived damaged and likely not water proof.I will be going to Home Depot to have wood cut for it instead. Disappointed to spend more money but I’d rather it last.

Easy to put together and it looks really nice. This is great to have for all the books that find their ways underneath the beds to share with other little kids that have not read these books would be great to put at a school or at a library or even at your home. The sturdiness is good Also, the size is perfect.

Missing the nails. I had to buy glue sticks to glue the pieces of woods together. 1 of the wood planks came broken almost completely, majorly cracked. I am very displeased with my purchase.
