Your cart is empty.LMG Enterprises #2200 Micro Mesh Polishing Kit For the ultimate, glass smooth finish on models, use this after painting. The kit contains: eight 3" x 4" reusable abrasive cloths (1800, 2400, 3200, 3600, 4000, 6000, 8000, & 12000 grits) a 1" x 2" x 3" foam sanding block, 1 oz. Micro Gloss polish in a spillproof applicator bottle, 1 oz. bottle Micro Finish, a 12"x12" soft flannel polishing cloth, and complete instructions. Polish included will do several models. The “cushioned” action minimizes deep random scratching and unnecessary steps, unavoidable with conventional abrasives, resulting in extended abrasive life, the best surface finish possible, and fewer steps. Micro-Mesh Regular is not an aggressive stock remover. Use conventional abrasives up to 240 grit sandpaper and then begin the Micro-Mesh regular series. Using water as a lubricant is encouraged to extend abrasive life and cool the work surface. This polishing system works excellent on all enamel, lacquer, and acrylic surfaces and is also ideal for polishing bare plastic as well as removing scratches in clear parts. For best results, follow directions. Used correctly, this system will produce beautiful results, even on badly orangepeeled enamelsurfaces. With proper care, the abrasive cloths may be cleaned and reused indefinitely making this a great value.

I received the box with 10 gray sanding cloths. They were all the same. No clear identification as to what grit level they were. I called Lila (Hercules Distributing of West Allis, Wisconsin) at the number printed on the instructions. She said I will receive a whole new kit with the sanding sheets clearly labeled on the back this time. The instructions said there were supposed to be some numbers on the back of the sheets indicating the grit level. There's just some other numbers that look like a part number or something. All the print on the backs oft he cloths look the same and some of print looks like it's cropped off.

I never wet sanded and polished a scale model before I purchased this product. The directions are great and the product is nicely packaged. My first body turned out great and the product works and intended.
