The rear window and mirrors on my SUV were pelted by high wind-driven small rocks, resulting in hundreds of tiny pits. I thought I would try this before investing in glass replacement. It didn't appear to work, and a body shop expert confirmed that the glass would have to be replaced. So now the vehicle's in the body shop for expensive repairs and paint. I guess it was worth a try.

The cerium oxide (pink powder) worked reasonably well, but just about everything else was a waste. The 2" pads are almost impossible to get good contact with using a drill to turn them. Probably a mini-angle-grinder would work better.I ended up cutting and gluing some hard wool felt to a 6" sanding pad with a standard DA thread and used my DA (dual action) sander to do the work.I found that using a lot of cerium oxide in a thick paste (like peanut butter) worked best, and working a small area worked much better than trying to polish a large area.The cerium oxide makes a HUGE MESS, flying everywhere and finding porous surfaces to stick to.I spent as almost much time cleaning up as I did polishing.

Product came with NO instructions on how to use !! REVISED....decided to try...went on YouTube to see how to use. I must admit its amazing results. Takes a little time but worth the effort. Just use powder with water to cream consistency. Soft pad with drill for windshield especially if you have wiper scratches. Only reason I don't give a 5 because no instructions came with it.

used on my 2001 chevy to clear haze and scratches from side windows due to dirt. couldn't believe how well they turned out. easy to use

It didn’t really work at all. No instructions with it. Wheel too small and I didn’t know what all those other attachments were for since only the felt one is for polishing glass. The felt pad did not have the adaptor to attach it to a drill. Totally dysfunctional and a loss of money. Would give it a zero store if that were an option.
