We wanted to avoid having to butcher the lobster while also being able to clean it and make it safe to eat. We created this neat tool to help us enjoy what we love, fresh seafood, and knew that others who enjoy catching their own lobsters would too.

Take the lobster tail, or whole lobster if you prefer to keep the head attached to the tail, and flip it over belly up so you can insert the lobster intestinal remover tool.

Insert the barbed part of the lobster tail cleaning tool into the lobster’s anus, about half way. Rotate the lobster intestinal remover clockwise, for half a turn.

Hold the tail firm and pull the tool straight out. Attached will be the intestinal tract, and your lobster is now ready to be cooked to your preference.

Divers typically use the antenna in the same way our tool is used, but the problem with that is that the antenna can break inside the lobster, and the spikes go down the entire length of the antenna, which can lead to injury.

Only used once so far, on 17 lobsters. They already seemed to have been "purged", but still the device seemed to remove the intestinal tract fairly well. Wish it was a bit sharper at the tip and maybe 3/4" longer. But aside from that, worth it and would recommend, especially if serving whole lobster (so they are already cleaned when they go to the table).

Does exactly what it is supposed to do. Some people elect to use the lobster antenna which doesn't always do the job. This deveiner works great and has a nice plastic sheath. Works as expected.

Saw this on a video of cleaning lobster and this tool does the job. I do not like going up a lobster's butt, but I don't like cooking poop. Bought another one for my daughter in law who loves this as well.

This tool is perfect! Easy to use and works flawlessly. Is also flexible, easy to pack, light weight, durable, etc. If you lobster, this is a terrific addition to the tool chest. It worked much better than trying to use antenna from the lobsters.

The inventor of this is a freaking genius. This saves so much time and effort in taking apart the lobster just to remove the intestinal tract. This prevents any fecal matter from being left over and allows a quicker cleaning process.
