Was heating it up for the first use and without even touching it, the top cracked about three inches. Very disappointed

I tried the Made-In and it did not fit due to control and vent panels on the GE Profile range....The Lodge Cast Iron 10"'x20" is lightweight and fit perfect! Finally able to use the sync!

I’ve had this item for a few weeks and never have owned cast iron before. I bought it to do Teppanyaki on my gas stovetop, but it’s so spacious compared to a skillet I’ve used it quite a bit and it’s become well seasoned and nonstick already. When it needs cleaning instead of soap I scrub it with salt, rinse and re-oil. I saw some reviews that complained about cracking, so I heat it up slower to avoid shocking it. It seems significantly lighter weight than cast iron skillets I looked at in stores.

I have the Lodge standard reversible grill/griddle and the Chef Collection reversible grill/griddle and they are good except they are heavy and take a long time to heat up and spread heat evenly across the entire cooking surface. Here comes the Blacklock griddle, what a design. The Blacklock is noticeably lighter and thinner. It takes much less time to heat up and spread the heat to the entire surface quite fast and evenly. Right out of the box I washed it with dish soap then oiled it a little and went directly to the stove to try out the non-stick surface. I know the griddle wasn't quite ready for fish yet but I tried anyway. Five pieces of fillets arranged just fine on the entire cooking surface that was preheat to about 400 degree. I let the fish fillets sat for about three minutes before I did the first flip. It was a little difficult to get the spatula under the fillets because the skin sort of stuck however as soon as I got the spatula started under one corner of the fillets I was able to work the whole spatula under the fillets and flip them. There were some broken and stuck on skins but not too bad and I managed to keep the fillets intact without creating a scrambled fish fillets. I called that non-stick surface a 80% success. After the fish fillet cooking I did one session of seasoning with avocado oil baked in the oven at 495 degree for an hour and let the griddle cool off in the oven for another two hours. The griddle came out of the oven very smooth and slick. My next cooking was to fry three eggs. After preheating the griddle with some oil on it to 400 degree I cracked the eggs onto the griddle and I could tell the temperature was just right because the eggs didn't run out too wide. When the edge of the eggs turned light brown and crisp I slipped the spatula under the eggs without any problem and I could push the eggs around on the griddle. I haven't tried cooking steak on it yet but I am sure it will serve well. Many reviews said their griddle cracked and I think starting with low heat and gradually increase the heat will prevent sudden thermal shock to the thin and long cast iron griddle. This Blacklock griddle has become my favorite do it all cookware.

Product is totally nonfunctional for use with Samsung Flexzone Induction range, which is unfortunate since physically, it's the perfect size. Burners click on and off and ultimately error out. During the rare moments when they do operate, heat is very uneven; an 8" pancake comes out both burned and raw in the time our previous griddle would have fully cooked. Despite the manufacturer's assurance that this griddle is induction friendly, do not attempt with Samsung induction.

I heard a large bang and it Cracked during first use on induction stove. The box says suitable for all cooking surfaces which is just not true.

I love to cook outside on the grill, and this grill plate is a great addition that allows me to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner. I recommend this product, and I would purchase it again (although I'm sure it will last me a lifetime).

Thought I was buying a quality product. However, upon first use, making pancakes on gas burner, a loud pop noise was heard… a crack appeared…Then, received a replacement, made sure burners were on low (gas) and again… second pan cracked.
