This switch arrived on time and does function, but in the opposite direction for my machine's need. Since switch convention is not specified by any seller, I wrongly assumed all similar neutral safety switches would operate in the same direction. The secret is out - this one is normally open. If you drive a Toro exmark mower, you will need a normally closed neutral safety switch to start in neutral, not start in gear, and not stall in neutral. I've decided to continue by solvent cleaning/spray greasing my seized old switch, because I cannot I am struggling to find a seller who can specify which direction their switch operates - I hope my sticky, old switch doesn't cause damage or harm to anything/body. Does anybody want to sell me a competitively priced, normally closed version of this switch?

This is a very nice switch and heavy duty construction. It can be used in a situation where it comes down onto a lever or the lever comes down onto it or because it has a ball contact point, it can also slide onto a contact or something can slide over and onto it. Common threads are also a nice addition to it's versatility. This little switch won't take no for an answer.
