This mat is definitely cool as described. While I bought it for my dogs my cats took it over. I may have to get another one soon.

I really really like this for my doodle because unless he’s freshly shaved he just pants ALL the time. He loves this but I wish it came in different colors because it shows any and all specs of dirt.

Very thin and cool to the touch. These are perfect for my dog’s kennels in the summertime! These do not have much padding so if you are looking for something with cushion…..this is not it! My pups love them so far!

Keep your dog cool and comfortable with the LOOBANI Dog Cooling Mat. I got the green color and it is similar to a mint green. I also got the medium size and it is a perfect size for my 50lb Pit mix. It is a soft cotton material on one side and the other is a silicone material that prevents the mat from sliding on the floor or other smooth surfaces. The material of this mat absorbs your dogs body heat to keep them cool. When placing this mat in front of an air conditioner or fan it helps to keep the mat cooler than without but it still works on its own. This mat doesn’t contain water or gel, like other cooling mats on the market, so you don’t have to worry about leaks. The mat is easy to clean and is machine washable. My dog uses this mat on the floor next to the central air register. I have also used this cooling mat at night to keep my feet cool while sleeping. No matter how or where you use this mat, it will keep you and your dog cool.

This is a nice 5-layer pad for helping your dog (or cat) be a bit more comfortable during the warm/hot months.The pad is designed to transfer some heat away from your pet, and to provide a spot which feels cooler to them.It certainly felt cool to the touch when we tested it against our skin. We chose the light mint green color, which should reflect sunlight and remain cool. The top layer is a densely woven material and dog hair seems to just fall off, which makes it easier to keep clean. Middle layers are to pull or 'wick' heat away from the top layer, bottom layer is non-slip.Cleaning and care instructions are located on the back of the placard which came with the pad... I have included a photo of the washing tips and maintenance tips.Our primary usage will be the greenhouse, yard, and deck. I might also use it in our vehicle during road trips. When I brought it into our greenhouse, our dog immediately settled down on it, so she already knows it is her 'space'.The pad seems durable, but feels a bit thin, so I might try placing something under it for a little extra cushion. However, our dog didn't seem to exhibit any discomfort, so we'll see how she does with just the pad for now.Overall, this is definitely worth a look if your pet will be trying to stay cool in a warm environment.
