Grounding is a new thing to me. I'm unsure of it but really open to the concept of it, so I wanted to try out this grounding mat. I'm not sure if I notice much difference other than my body doesn't seem as achy when I wake in the mornings. I'm going to continue using it even if only for that reason. Other benefits may come later, but I haven't noticed anything yet. It seems to be well made and easy to use and I have it set up under my desk to use while I work.

This grounding mat is well-made with quality materials and is simple to set up. It feels comfortable underfoot and can be used in different settings, like under a desk or on the bed. Over time, it helps promote relaxation and deeper sleep. A great addition for anyone looking to incorporate grounding into their daily routine!

- This is a nice grounding mat. It is very flexible and measures about 24" x 13". It's just like a mouse pad on your desk.- The included 10-foot grounding wire snaps into the mat, and on the other end, a pin plugs into the grounding part of a wall outlet.- I really like that this pad helps lower static buildup in my chair and keeps me from shocking myself during dry winter weather.

My husband enjoyed this - it has a nice long cord, is small enough to fit under a desk but big enough to use comfortably, it feels nice when it's on. Good quality.

This is just like another mat I received. The same insert, material, etc but this one doesn't include a wrist band so you are relegated to either sitting or laying on this one. It is a good size, easy to clean and set up. You get a pretty long grounding cord as well. I don't know if it does anything but my multi meter went to 0 indicating it is doing something. Sorry, it is hard to try to hold the leads and photo by myself. I plugged the ground into the ground hole of the house socket for the test but I think I will get an actual grounding stake to put outside and plug into. I feel like the wall plug may be hazardous and I do not yet have one of those gadgets that tell you if your wiring is correct. I've read cautions about power surges and it freaked me out about plugging into the main wiring.

I just don't know on this. I know with my tester that this has conductive material in it. I also know my outlet is properly grounded. What I don't know is if the thing is doing its job. I used it and felt strange vibrations in my right foot nearest the cord. After using it 30 min. I started to feel worse and not better. This hasn't been the case with other grounding products I've used.I am pretty sensitive. My insides feel scrambled if I sit next to my router so I know I'm sensitive. So maybe that's it. But something just doesn't seem right about this mat.

This grounding mat by FXYSWGA, is basic looking, a plain black "pleather" look to it, but I've found through trial and error that is exactly what you want for a grounding mat. When I've tested different grounding mats with multimeters to determine if my voltage does register any sort of change when I am touching one of these, the basic black mats always come out the most effective. Sometimes the fancier ones with quilted tops look comfortable, but they simply don't ground you when you are using them, I'm sorry to say. This one is good. And the dimension that it is- it is wide enough to use for sitting on in a chair during the day, which is how I use it. ( Some grounding mats are long and too skinny to sit on in my opinion, but this one is good.) Unless you are wearing a fabric that will transmit a charge you aren't going to be grounded however, so I tuck one bare foot up into the chair on this, and it works, my bare foot touches it and I'm grounded . Or I place a hand on the mat as an alternative. I've found that wearing a thin material for pants, will transmit the grounding through. But thicker yoga pants will not, and the material a pant is made of matters. Cotton is good, synthetic material however blocks the grounding from happening through it. This mat also is a great size for under a desk to rest your bare feet or feet with a thin cotton sock on, it will ground you that way as well. I know that measuring if you get any health benefits to grounding mats is impossible to measure and highly subjective, but I've found since I started incorporating them into my routine (sitting in the day on them and sleeping on one at night) that my sleep quality has improved, so I have become a "believer!" Also using a multimeter to see that there really is a change in my body voltage when I touch one of these mats, also has helped me feel they are probably worthwhile. This mat comes with a long grounding cord. It has a round plug on the end that can only fit into the grounding hole in an outlet. This is not using any electricity, so it will not increase your electrical bill at all (I had to be sure of that before I decided to use these.) It just connects you to the ground thus the "grounding" effect. That being said, I did read that you want to not be sitting on these during any electrical storms just to be on the safe side since you are "grounded" I just would unplug the snap which is so easy to do if I heard any thunderstorms coming through and snap it back together once they had passed- problem solved.

Grounding is a new concept to me, but I've heard good things about it helping you sleep and reducing inflammation and chronic pain. I have RA, so I decided to try this mat. I didn't really feel anything when putting my feet in it as instructed and I haven't really noticed much difference in my sleep or pain and inflammation, but I've only been using it for about a week. Maybe it's something that takes some.use over time to really be effective? As for the mat itself, it's well constructed and comes with clear instructions. It plugs into the ground hole only of an electrical outlet, so you need to make sure you are using an outlet that accepts three prong plugs. I like that the cord is long enough that you don't have to be near an outlet to use it.I guess I really need to do some more research on grounding and how to use the mat most effectively, and I'm going to give it a fair try for at least a month and see what happens.
