LOTKEY resonator banjo is a dual style banjo with a removable resonator. The resonator banjos has a crisp tone for bluegrass and the open-back banjos has a soft, mellow tone for old-time music, making it a banjo that will satisfy the needs of both beginners and professional players.
BANJO DESIGN DETAILS
The headstock tuning pegs are metal-enclosed, effectively preventing dust and dirt from getting into the gears; the purpleheart fingerboard is hard and resistant to friction; the REMO drum skins offer good tension and durability; and the okoume resonators are lightweight and not bulky.

INSTALLATION OF 5 STRING BANJO BRIDGE
Step 1
Place the head of the scale length ruler in the cow bone nut position
Step 2
Mark the end of the Scale Length ruler with a pencil resting on the drum skin
Step 3
Adjust the tuning pegs so that the strings are in a loose position
Step 4
Place the bridge in the marked position and tighten the tuning pegs
INSTALLING THE BANJO STRAP
Banjo head
Carefully tie the long side of the buckle strap to the headstock of the banjo

Buckle the other side of the strap to the banjo tailpiece

Buckle both sides of the strap to the banjo tailpiece, choosing what is comfortable for you

The first thing I looked at the banjo was the dual styles that the description said were Resonator banjo and open back banjo, I love bluegrass music but would like to play other styles on occasion, and this banjo that can change styles is really perfect for me!

This is a very nice 5 string banjo. It is reliable quality and medium weight. The banjo fretboard and banjo drum skins make it seem like a great value for the money. Its sound can be excellent for a banjo at this price point.
