This was my 1st time buying a stringed instrument without playing it in a store, but I was so relieved and happy to receive it and it is exactly as described. Beautiful black design, loud , sweet sound, straight neck, low action, pickup to plug in and play, and its a lefty! This banjo really exceeded expectations. Only small annoyance is that there wasn't instruction booklet in the box or fabric case (which is a nice padded gig bag. I had to tune it and then place the bridge looking at online pics. In the end I had to use my knowledge of guitar intonation to get the bridge placement just right. Overall though, I love this banjo, and being a 6 string (tuned to standard EADGBE) makes it even easier to play.
