This transducer was wider than the original that I had that snapped off. I am sure I hit something with it. Unfortunately the connector was smaller than my original and I had to take off one side of the original brackets and fill the holes with Pettit Marine Epoxy. Then I had to line it up and drill new holes and install it. Yesterday I tried it out and it worked perfectly. So all in all it worked out great and my LC28 HD works great now.

Plug fit into my hds7 on my mako. The mounting size on the new transducer was slightly smaller than the old version so threw a few spacers into the old bracket to keep from having to drill new holes for the new bracket.

I used this on a x-515c. I can now see 1200 feet deep in Lake Tahoe as compared to 400 feet with the original that came with the unit. Amazing how much better this is.

Solved my problem with losing power. Guess my old cord got a pin hole allowing salt water intrusion causing power glitches. Items was sent on time and works great

Works for my small boat perfectly with my Elite-7 Ti, but needs Lowrance 7 pin blue to 9 pin black transducer adapter https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DTF6O7A/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_20 . Obviously does not give me side scan readings, but does what I want for BWCA trips and not having to buy a $300 full transducer.

"Works like when it was new" exact replacement for my sonar/plotter even the temperature is back.Very pleased fast delivery as always from Amazon. I was ready to ditch the whole unit but decidd to try just the transducer and presto it was back to its old self with clear I ages and stable depth readings.
