Excellent quality for an inexpensive camera. The kids love seeing the fish in the freshwater.I wish the rod instruction hookup were better.

Saw on BASS one of the contenders uses a similar product to better grasp the image of his electronics. This worked like a charm. Keep in mind the camera can only see what a human would see. Don’t expect miracles. Image visible up to 10 ft on the bottom.

I mean, it does work but it feels like a bunch of stuff tossed in a poorly fitting case that happens to mostly work together.Decent enough picture on the tiny ( 2.6 x 4.3 inch) display while indoors.The extra mount for the camera (shown in the photos with a weight) is neat, but doesn't fit. The camera just falls right out, and there is no weight supplied like in the photo.No english instructions but you can figure it out.Bottom line is... buy it for the kids for fun, don't buy it for yourself. Spend a few more $.

Works as advertised. Even in dirty canal water. Can't wait to try it when Tarpon fishing next week. Will be a great help in locating the schools.Worth every penny!

My partner and I were happy with the camera overall. In water with a comparatively higher turbidity (cloudy water), we could send it down and see a short distance. There is a lot of algae and other debris obscuring the water where we reside in Florida. We were able to identify different kinds of fish and utilize the bait fish to estimate the size of the game fish we were pursuing. Additionally, it informed us of the presence of our target species.

makes a huge difference in locating fish, particularly when ice fishing. The camera is excellent (it's just as good as the Aqua-view I had before). The fish are also never frightened by the color or shape of the camera. I've included a photo to demonstrate this.
