LSI is the go-to for FreeNAS. This has performed great. SCSI4ME (seller) included a full-size bracket along with the low-profile one that comes attached. Made it very handy to swap in and out of different servers. Flashing the firmware to the newest version was a huge pain, but that's just the name of the game with these LSI HBAs.

killer deal if you can find one that cheap. put it in my r610 and hooked up to external SAS expander case. works like a dream and runs a lot cooler than a flashed perc h310.

The picture and description state that this comes with the full-size bracket, but it does not. I haven't been able to find a replacement bracket anywhere.

It was quite impossible to tell that the card have ever been used before.Needless to say, the card works fine.Very nice service from Made PC, I highly recommend them.

only came with the low profile bracket, did not ship with the full-height bracket. Would have been a lot cooler if it did

Great for a large SAS array. It produces moderate heat since there in no fan so airflow is important. It operates 24/7 for 3 years now never an issue
