Bought this for my six year old. Fit him well and after a few times he was able to master direction control. Not a lot of ability to control direction but he was able to adjust his weight just enough to subtly move it to where he wanted to go. Light enough for him to walk it back up the hill by himself which was huge for me!

Ok first off the color of this sled is gorgeous. It’s like a deep rustic red. NOT a plastic fake looking red which I was so happy about. I seriously had the prettiest sled at the sledding hills, with a couple people asking what kind of sled it was.It also performed really well, does all the things you want a sled to do…super fast, easy to steer, and lightweight to carry. We also literally could fit 3 fully grown women on it so idk why it says for just kids! Best sled every, highly recommend!

I'm sure it's fine for kids sledding down a hill, but I need it for hauling firewood in winter. Suppose I need to feel it to see if it meets my needs. I was hoping for a more flexible rubbery type plastic...not the fault of this company...this is the problem of buying online. Cannot see it in person, and cannot feel it. I am afraid that dropping heavy logs on this rigid plastic during frigid cold temps will shatter this sled.I gotta point out that this sled was very expensive. Even if I used it for sledding, I could see it not taking the beating of kids being rough with it during the excitement of racing up and down the hill, and pulling it sideways with heavy weight of kids in it.There are no holes on sides for lacing rope. Two holes in front of sled with rope attached. It won't be long and that rope and the holes will break.
