Bought this fish finder and used it successfully once. Now it shows no info except water temp. Piece of S***. Don't waste your money.

Seemed to work ok at first. Started to realize depth would jump from 3ft to 6ft(or more) when transducer didn't even move. Screen would randomly change ground level. Sometimes ground would take up most of screen then it would suddenly change to maybe a 1/4 of the screen, even though depth didn't change. Started to become difficult to read. Changing sensitivity made no difference at all. Very basic display. After a while seemed like it better to just fish to find fish then spend time trying to read screen.

The tide was really rolling through my fishing spot that day so it was hard to manage but on a calm day with little current I’d give it 5 stars. Good battery life, accuracy.

I was skeptical, even after so many good reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. So far, I've taken it out three times, twice in a john boat and once from the bank. This thing is perfect for both. Hooked it up to a mini rod for kayak fishing and pulled it along with the boat, found the fish in a deep channel and was able to set up in shade on a hot day and cast to where the fish were. Great from the bank as well, let it drift and cast around it when the fish alarm went off. Battery life is really good, two days of six hours each in the heat without recharging, could have got a third day out of it easily. Pretty cool, and it's kind of fun too...
